(Vehicles with overhanging bodywork above the front windscreen i.e. some motorhomes/vans etc.; Vehicles fitted with a metallic anti-reflective front windscreen and some heated front windscreens; Additionally, regular commuters into dense urban areas, i.e. central London, may appreciate the benefits of an external antenna.)
