Simply enter your destination
address (within most of Europe) and let the SPIII plan your route before
giving you you turn by turn voice prompts to the door, with accuracy of
approximately 8 metres.
Automatic route concatenation - If at any time the user leaves the
intended route, the SPIII will, after a short pause, automatically re-route
the user on a new 'best' route.
HGV settings - The system
can be made to always try to avoid U-turns when re-routing (see above), and
also take into account HGV speed limits.
Voice prompts - An
external speaker is moulded into the power lead giving voice prompts for
every junction.
Colour screen showing intended route - automatically zooms in at
junctions / roundabouts.
Completely portable - supplied with two mounts, friction 'bean bag'
mount & self adhesive mount (shown in 'incar' image). Draws power from the
cigarette lighter socket.
'Points of Interest' listings - ask for the nearest petrol station /
car park / restaurant / train station / etc ... then receive directions to
the selected place.
Mapsource PC software - Every SPIII is supplied with PC software that
allows waypoints (i.e. destinations) to be input via a PC if desired,
meaning that a business could prepare a unit for a driver's working day with
multiple destinations pre-programmed for the day ahead. View

'Tracklog' - The system has approximately a 6 hour tracklog, storing
precise data on where it has been / when it was there / how fast it was
travelling etc... during it's last 6 hours (approx) of use. This data can be
uploaded to a PC with the cable supplied, and viewed in the map window of
the Mapsource software supplied with every system. View

European mapping coverage - The Mapsource software also allows
European travel. Mapping data for most of Europe is contained on the PC CD
ROM, and can be download to the SPIII as and when required. View
